ESSAOUIRA OVERNIGHT TRIP

Escape the heat and bustle of Marrakech and discover the laid-back charm of Essaouira. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay by the Atlantic coast, explore the city at your own pace, and experience the beautiful landscapes along the way.

DAY 1 — MARRAKECH TO ESSAOUIRA

​

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at around 9:30 AM and begin our journey to Essaouira.

 

The drive takes approximately 3 hours, with a few stops along the way to enjoy the scenery and local experiences.

​

Our first stop will be at a local argan oil cooperative, where you’ll learn about the famous argan tree, discover how argan oil is traditionally extracted, and see the trees growing naturally in the surrounding countryside.

​

We’ll then continue towards Essaouira, with time for lunch along the way. We can stop at a Moroccan winery, where you’ll have the opportunity to discover local wine production and, if you wish, sample some Moroccan wines.

We expect to arrive in Essaouira around 3:00 PM. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the afternoon and evening are free for you to relax and explore the city at your own pace.

We’ll also be happy to recommend some of our favourite places for dinner.

DAY 2 — ESSAOUIRA & RETURN TO MARRAKECH

​

The morning is yours to enjoy freely. Take a walk through the charming medina, relax by the Atlantic Ocean, visit the harbour, or simply enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Essaouira.

For those looking for a little more adventure, optional activities are available, including horse riding, quad biking, or a guided walking tour with a certified local guide.

We’ll leave Essaouira at around 4:00 PM, arriving back in Marrakech in the evening.
